Singapore Heritage Festival
Island-wide (Jul 2014)
About this project
As part of the Singapore Heritage Festival, 3D Ave was tasked to create a blown-up Peranakan pot, commonly known as Kamcheng, which means “covered jar” in Hokkien.
These peranakan pots were used to store supplies, keep cooked food warm and sometimes used to store cosmetics or sweets.
The 3D Kamcheng prop was displayed in various shopping malls during the festival and is currently on display at the Asian Civilisation Museum.
